Ubbink Pond Water Treatment Aqua Phos Adsorber 500 ml
The Aqua Phos Adsorber pond water treatment from Ubbink is a liquid pond water care product which effectively reduces the phosphate content of the pond water, preventing algae from feeding and proliferating. Next to carbon and nitrogen, phosphate is the nutrient and the limiting growth factor for algae. Algae cannot grow without phosphate. Feed remains, fish waste, leaves, airborne pollen etc, all introduce phosphates to ponds. When the quantities are too high and your pond plants can no longer absorb phosphates, algae start to grow. The Aqua Phos absorber removes this unwanted nutrient from the water. Note: Aqua Phos Adsorber is to be used when the phosphate content of the pond water is greater than 0.035 mg/L.
